Custom modern staircase featuring a precision-fabricated zig-zag steel stringer, natural wood treads, and minimalist black metal railings. The design combines strong architectural geometry with warm wood finishes to create a clean contemporary look.
The challenge
The staircase required precise fabrication across multiple runs and turns while maintaining consistent tread alignment and a clean visual connection between levels. The open-riser design also demanded accurate structural detailing throughout the entire stair system.
The design solution
We fabricated and installed a custom zig-zag steel staircase with individually fitted wood treads and custom metal railings. Each section was built to follow the exact geometry of the space, creating a rigid structural system with an open, modern appearance.
