Custom open-riser staircase combining structural steel, warm wood treads, and decorative wrought-iron railings. The design blends traditional detailing with exposed modern steel geometry, creating a distinctive multi-level staircase with a strong architectural presence.

The challenge

The staircase required multiple turns and landings within a complex interior layout. The challenge was to maintain precise stair geometry while integrating decorative railings, wood posts, handrails, and exposed steel structural elements into one cohesive design.

The design solution

We fabricated and installed custom steel zig-zag stringers, fitted individual wood treads, and completed the staircase with decorative wrought-iron railing panels, turned wood posts, and matching wood handrails. The finished system combines structural strength with a more traditional decorative character.
