Custom floating staircase featuring a central steel mono-stringer, dark wood treads, integrated LED lighting, and custom metal railings. The design combines structural steel fabrication with warm wood finishes to create a modern architectural centerpiece with a dramatic floating effect.

The challenge

The staircase needed to connect multiple levels while maintaining an open, lightweight appearance inside a compact interior. The structure also had to support the floating tread design, accommodate custom landings, and integrate lighting without compromising the clean architectural look.

The design solution

We designed, fabricated, and installed a custom steel mono-stringer staircase with individually mounted wood treads, custom landings, and black metal railings. Integrated LED lighting was added beneath the treads to emphasize the floating geometry and provide functional illumination throughout the staircase.
